Historic Wilmington Foundation's Beer & Cookies Event

Historic Wilmington Foundation (HWF) presents a History’s Future Quarterly Event called Beer & Cookies, an alternative to the usual wine and cheese soiree. The event celebrates the opening of a photography exhibit by Melissa Wilgis. A Humble History showcases Melissa's vision of history through photography. Imagine doorknobs, windows, paint flakes, fixtures and tools are intriguing clues to a humble history that’s within our sight. HWF will also be collecting donations for the Market Street Tree Canopy reforestation project. HOURS: 6-8pm.

 History’s Future is a newly formed division of the Historic Wilmington Foundation designed to engage younger members and to motivate them to take an interest in the city’s treasures and take stock in its heritage.
